Kobe's swab didn't contain other guy.

Leave it to the courts to screw something up. The joys and perils of the internet. A court clerk mistakenly posted this file on the courts website even though they weren't suppose to. It is the second time this has happened and thanks to the Smoking Gun you can look at what it says. Kobe's story seems to be making more and more sense. Go LAKERS! Hospitals not to check into

They just thought he was sleeping, very comfortably, for 17 hours, without moving, without his chest taking in oxygen, and I bet no one gets disciplined over this. Reminds me of a story about a teacher. He was a several disabled teacher and a kid snuck food into class and was eating it secretly. The student choked on the food and died but the teacher just thought he had put his head down for a nap. Always check for signs of life. Going on a Train Ride!

Strange thing living in Southern California, you meet a lot of people who do very interesting things. For instance, a friend from high school's dad owns this train. He has provided trains for most of the major Hollywood films for the past 20 years. It was really cool seing Lost Boys and my friend telling me "thats my dad's train". We are all going on a ride soon. It should be a lot of fun. Pony Express Private Party Car

1010 WINS: Police Charge Two CT Men With 'Potty Rage'

Wow, and this one is North of the Mason-Dixon line. I think if I was going to grab a random weapon at a Burger King I would go for the napkin holder over the straw dispenser every time. 1010 WINS: Police Charge Two CT Men With 'Potty Rage'

Strange animal story day

How many pets are out there called Bobo? Isn't Michael Jackson's pet monkey named Bobo? Well, here is a Bobo story that didn't end well for the Bobo in question.

I wonder how many exotic pets of celebrities are named Bobo?

Cats in the News!

Yes, I am a cat person. Not because I dislike dogs, just never had one. But I found these two news stories this week in the news and I thought I would share them with you.

The first is about Nemo the swimming cat that was found 3 miles off the coast in the Gulf of Mexico. Reminds me of the Aristocats. Just not in France. Or with a butler. Or singing cats... nevermind

The second is about PFC Hammer a cat adopted by a unit in Iraq that recently came home with the other troops. Does that mean we are now kidnapping Iraqi cats? Where is Michael Moore when you need him.

I have seen a Chupacabra!

At least, that is the story I am sticking too.

I found some interesting stuff while talking to Skylar.

Are you descended from Ghengis Khan? Could get you a free meal.

No food for 68 years? That would definitely put McDonalds out of business.

This last one has some cool stuff on strange things. Read all about the strange creatures like the Chupacabra!.

Mr. Moore's Movie

Finally saw it. Though I don't feel comfortable supporting it by paying... but I have paid for worse movies in the past. What I find so upsetting about his movie is that many people are shocked by what they see and hear. Where have these people been? Everything brought up has been in the news! Read, it does a mind good. By the way, here is the Patriot Act.

No kidding! Day four and already I am having trouble finding inspiration

Wired's recent article regarding Blogs and people getting burned out on them hit home today. Of course, I don't have the problem of people leaving too many comments. Heck! Has anyone even read it? Oh well, good practice for September.

Live Action Pac-Man?

My mom dropped off a section of the New York Times the other day (okay, three weeks ago) and I finally sat down and looked through it to see why she felt it was so important to clutter up my tiny little house. Low and behold (Sunday, May 9, 2004 NYT Sunday Styles, Section 9, Page 1) there is an article about college students using cell phones and maps of Manhattan to play a live action version of Pac-Man. I would want to be Blinky :-)

2880 collision

I had breakfast with a JPL Deep Space Engineer and he mentioned that an asteroid is on a possible collision course with the Earth on St. Patrick's Day in the year 2880. Of course we have plenty of time. I quickly did some research and low and behold here it is as reported by ABC news

First Post

Well, I just signed up for this thing and thought I might try it out. Tonight was fun. Me, Heather, and the kids travelled on the Gold Line to Phillipes in downtown LA with my neighbors. Lots of fun and good food. Curran started getting a little crazy with the Chinatown snappers. He kept throwing them up in hte air instead of down ont the ground.
